If you want to graduate as soon as possible, then you must choose your thesis topic and thesis advisor as soon as possible.
After that, you must work diligently until you finish.
Many students have UNREALISTIC expectations: They think they can choose a topic, do the research, and write the thesis in just a few months. This is NOT realistic.
So, start immediately.
