Every time you turn on the radio, you hear advertisements. When you go out onto the streets, your eyes are greeted by advertisements. Pages and pages of newspapers carry nothing but advertisements. And TV programs are interrupted every few minutes by advertisements. Many advertisements are honest about the products being advertised, and consumers do benefit from them there are often advertisements, however, that exaggerate the uses and qualities of the products or even lie about them; but these we have to put up with. Advertisements are an inevitable feature of modern economy, and as such they have become a part of out life whether we like them or not.
